Dog Blog
I really love all sorts of animals, but my absolute favourite are dogs. One reason why dogs are so great and how they are different from other animals is that dogs come in all different sizes and are great for many different people. There are house dogs and ones that stay outdoors. You can have a small, cute one or rather a larger one that could be great as a guard dog.
Dogs can do many different lifesaving jobs. The Belgian Malinois and German Shepherds are commonly used as police service dogs and are observant and good at tracking down people. In the past, Dalmatians were used in the firehouse for guarding the horses and wagons, an easy target for thieves. After natural disasters, there are dogs that help locate buried people. For people that have disabilities, there are well trained service dogs that help in many ways; seeing eye dogs who help the blind, dogs that help diabetics manage their blood sugar levels and dogs that support people who have physical and mental disabilities in doing daily tasks. Golden Labradors are often trained as therapy dogs, helping people with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). They have a way of cheering others up.
Dogs are also great companions. The most well known dog companion is the Golden Retriever. They are known for being obedient. They are friendly and also great with kids. There are also many other dog breeds that are great companions. There are many reasons why dogs are considered “Man’s best friend”.

Dogs are soft and nice to play with but, may I place a friendly reminder? Capitals at the beginning of sentences, the letter 'I' is always capital, and there is a space after a period. Other than that, I totally agree with you!

I absolutely adore dogs! They are my very favourite animal! I like them because they make a great companion and they are so adorable, except those freaky hairless chihuahuas! I have a dog and I love her to death. We were born at almost the same time and she used to be my grandma's dog but then she gave her to us. Polly has been there since I was born and she is very special to me. She is a crossbreed Shih-tzu-Maltese. She looks fluffy and white except when she rolls in mud and then she looks like a mud monster. Maltese and Shih-tzu dogs are little dogs and little dogs tend to live longer than bigger dogs. Also, crossbreeds live longer than pure breeds and since my dog is a small dog AND a crossbreed she is going to be around for a while. Sorry, whenever I mention my dog I start talking A LOT.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite dog breed besides Polly's breed is probably a Yorkshire Terrier. They are small, and usually black and brown. They look very lovable and cute. I like these dogs because you can get little bows for their long hair and how could you not love them?! SO CUTE!
I know the things you wrote in your blog but I also know the thing about little dogs live longer as well as crossbreeds, but I think most people know that already. I know that I love them and they are useful for many things. I know that they can grow very close to their owners and there has been many times where dogs have saved peoples lives. Dogs are amazing.

ReplyDeleteI don't have a favourite dog breed. They are all the best because of their fur, their faces and their cuteness. I have a dog and she always comes over to me and lays on my chest and licks my face in the mornings.
I don't know any other interesting facts about dogs except that my dog is a Golden lab crost with a husky she always rolls around on the cold grass in our nabouors yard in the summer.

I love dogs! I like that I can snuggle them and play with them. I could swim with a dog. Also, I could brush a dog and have fun with one.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite dog breed is a Lab, also known as a Labrador Retriever. They are fun they are also very good swimmers and are very cute when they are young. They have a thin coat so the breed does not shed that much. They are my favorite breed of dog.
I know a breed of dogs called Saint-Bernard. Most of the time this dog breed saves people from avalanches.

Dogs are one of my favourite pets, they are because they are very friendly (most of them) and they are adorable and fun to play with. I also like dogs because you can take them on walks. I know you have to have to pick up there droppings but it is still fun to take them anyway - it gives you a bit of outdoors!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite dog breed is beagles. I love beagles because they are super cute and are fun to play with. A few facts I know about beagles is that they are super smart but still have sass to them - like me!😂 So, that's why I like beagles and if I did get a dog, I would get a beagle. Yay!

Dogs are my favorite animal by far. They are my favorite animal because they can be just like a person. You can play with them, go on walks with them and even express your feelings by "talking to them". Another reason I like dogs is because they can be really helpful, some dogs can even perform CPR!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite dog breed is a husky. I like huskies because they are big. I would also be able to them on walks in the winter without them getting cold because of there thick fur and I would be able to play with them.

I LOVE dogs. I have a Labrador-Cocker-Spaniel.He is 5 dog years is 37 I think.He is black and he's name is Sniffer. I got him when he was 1 and a half years old. He is super friendly dog. I and my mom almost every day go for a walk with him.

I love dogs. They are super cute and friendly. I have a dog named Emma. She is a husky pup. My dad found her at his worker site and my dad brought her home on my birthday years ago. The dog was scared in the past because she didn't know my family that time in the past. Now, Emma is my dog. She is silly, cute, and friendly. I use to have a dog named Charlie. He was a boy but sadly he past away because he was very old. Now, I still miss him and he will be with in my heart everyday.

Dogs are my 2nd favourite animal. I like dogs because they calm me. The first time I had a dog stay at my house was this year when my auntie had to go for a meeting out of town. Her dog, Angel, stayed at my home.🏠

I think some dogs are scary, like the Pitbull. My favorite dog is a German Shepherd. It is a dog for the Police and I like the police.
ReplyDeleteAll dogs are colour blind so they can only see black, white and gray. It is very sad to see that some dogs are used for pulling very heavy sleds.
I don't have a dog but I want to get one. My parents said no and that is so unfair because we could not go on camping trips and our camper is too small to fit dog in. It would also poop all over the lawn.

I love dogs! Big dogs, small dogs, fluffy dogs, furry dogs, happy dogs, clever dogs, wire-hired dogs, hunting dogs, clever dogs, there's so many dogs and ways to describe them. Some are stay at home dogs, others are used for hunting and people with disabilities.
ReplyDeleteI love all dogs except pugs. I can't stand their wrinkly faces! My absolute favorite is a Wire-haired Pointing Griffon. My first dog was a Wire-haired Pointing Griffon and she was the best dog I ever had! Last year I got a little mixed breed. She is a Wire-haired Pointing Griffon mixed with a Black Lab. Normally, they have brown spots with white around. She has improved but she is still crazy! Wire-haired Pointing Griffons are really good for hunting. My dad wants to train her to hunt
